Thoughts of Fall

Hello Crafty friends! I am here today to share with you a simple Fall card I made using a Leaf punch from Fiskars and a sentiment stamp from I Brake for stamps from the Inspirational Plate #2 set.

What is great about this set is that it will work in any season. The designer paper is actually from my scrap drawer. I found three coordinating pieces to create this Fall design.

I added some washi tape and as a finishing touch and a few Nuvo drops as embellishments.

Peace this Christmas

Hi everyone! I am here to share with you a Christmas card i created using one of the coordinating stamp and die sets from hero arts.

Peace

This is called  Peace coordinating set and can be ordered over at the A2Z Scrapbooking shop. There are several Christmas sets in stock, so be sure to check them out while you are there.
I love these coordinating sets. They are so versatile with both the stamps and the matching die cut.  The sets give you lots of options for different sentiments as well.
Peace Christmas

I am using one of my Tim Holtz die cuts from last year and added some Nuvo Glitter paste to create my snow. The snowflakes are stickers from my stash along with the holly rub on. It is a very simple card with minimal embellishments, but I just love that snow! What do you think?

Create a layered Halloween tag with idea-ology

Hi everyone! By now you have probably caught on that I am a Tim Holtz fan! I especially love the idea-ology collection.  His newest addition this year to this line was the paper dolls and I love them! I also love that during the holiday seasons he and his team have specialty items added to this collection.

I created two Halloween tags using various items from idea-ology.  I also used some of his packaging to make a tag.  If you would like to see how I created these, you can see my process on the video below.

What is also great is the packaging design. This year the halloween ephemera back pane was designed with great spider webs which can be incorporated into your crafting.

I used the backing of my packaging to create a tag which I then used to layer my ephemera an other various idea-ology items. I also used Distress collage medium to adhere my pieces. It is a great adhesive and works very well. It also comes in vintage for those of you that want to put a little more color on your ephemera while adhering it to your base.

Coffee Lover's Blog Hop - Day 3 You complete me

It is day 3 of the coffee lover's blog hop. Today I am sharing a card I created using a cute set from Neat & Tangled.

I don't typically create cutesy cards, but this little guy is so adorable and it has such fun sentiments. I had these cute little coffee creamers sitting on my desk from the last hop, so this was a perfect time to get those onto a card.

Hopefully you hoppers are taking a break between your comments to enjoy a nice cup of your favorite drink!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Coffee Lover's Blog Hop - Day 2 Pumpkin Latte

Hello hoppers and coffee lovers. For day 2 of the Coffee Lover's blog hop I decided to create a pumpkin spiced latte card. I had some of this beautiful graphic 45 paper in my scrap pile, just enough for a card.

I picked up this little coffee Die from Taylored expressions last summer and have not had a chance to use it yet.  It is so cute and small, not how we like our coffee, but great for a card.

Coffee Lover's Blog Hop - Spider Coffee Day 1

Wow! It seems like just last week we were hopping through the Summer Coffee Lover's Blog hop and now here we are again for our Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!  I am in the middle of packing up my craft room for a move, so I am not sure if I will be able to get 7 cards finished this week, but I will do my best.

I designed this image using pic Monkey. I had an idea of spiders coming out of a coffee cup, creepy I know, but it is close to Halloween after all.

I embellished the card with some washi tape and a spider token.  Oh and also a little arsenic label. So tell me Coffee Lovers...would you drink this cup?

7 Days of Halloween - Day 7 Distress Blending

It is day 7 of my 7 days of Halloween. I wanted to do something different, a blending combination I had never tried before and I am so glad that I did.

To see in detail how I created this card you can click on the video below.

I used a circle die cut to mask of the moon and created the background by blending two distress oxides and one distress ink.

The stamp that I am using is from Viva Las Vegas Stamps and is called Winter Woods Scene 4.  I also used the bat stamp from the Tim Holtz Halloween set called Haunted House.

The sentiment is from the Halloween Clippings Sticker set from Ideaology.  I hope that you have enjoyed my series over the last 7 days.

Don't forget, I am doing a giveaway over on my you tube channel, so be sure to check out all 7 videos.

It is day 6 and today we are going to be creating a Halloween scene using one of the new Tim Holtz Halloween sets called Haunted House.

I finished off the card with one of the paper dolls from the Halloween set.

7 Days of Halloween - Day 4 Monstrous

Hello crafty friends. It is day 4 of my 7 days of Halloween series. Today I am going a little spooky and using my new Monstrous stamp set from Stampers Anonymous. This is one of the Tim Holtz Halloween sets released this season.

To see how I created this card you can check out my You tube video below.

To ensure that my monsters fit inside my template, I traced the opening onto some white cards stock before I stamped them.

I used the cut out portion to cover up my colored images before adding the fired brick distress paint onto the panel. I also used the stripes stencil and some rub ons to finish up the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

7 Days of Halloween - Day 3 Non traditional Halloween Stamps

It is Day 3 of my 7 Days of Halloween. Today I wanted to share with you a Halloween card that I created using a non traditional Halloween stamp set.

This stamp set is from Hero Arts and is called Woof.  It can be special ordered over at A2ZScrapbooking and is a great set to have in your stash.  What is great about this stamp set is that it can be used not not only for every day cards, but for Holiday cards as well.

To see how I created this card, you can check out my video below.

The background was created using two of the Distress Oxides, spiced marmalade and twisted citron along with the Stripes Tim Holtz stencil.

With just a few embellishments I was able to get this little puppy ready for some Halloween fun.  I added some washi tape to further embellish the card along with some Nuvo drops.
